The new NMW rates from 1.10.2012 are as follows:
16-17 years old – rate remains at £3.68 per hour
18-20 years old – rate remains at £4.98 per hour
21 years and above – rate increases to £6.19 per hour
Apprentices – rate increases to £2.65 per hour. For those aged under 19 and those over 19 but in the first year of apprenticeship.
